The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency stated it really is alarmed with regard to the high number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is because of here the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area every day. The support stage established for intervention activities a higher inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
